08/21/2006 - PPTA Selects VikingViking Athletics is pleased to announce that the USA Professional Platform Tennis Association has selected Viking Athletics’ platform tennis ball to be the official ball for all PPTA sanctioned events for the next five seasons. “Viking has been known for its quality products and is instrumental in providing vehicles for many organizations to enrich the wonderful sport of platform tennis. Viking was the first sponsor to step forward when the PPTA was forming many years ago and they have steadfastly supported us since. Their selection as the official ball of the PPTA is a natural,” according to PPTA president Mike Rahaley. “It’s an honor to be recognized for our efforts”, says David C. Kjeldsen, CEO of Viking.
