10/07/2007 - Premier Cup & Other Chicago NewsOn October 6th and 7th, Chicago hosted the 3rd annual Premier Cup, presented by Premier Platform Tennis, at the newly renovated facilities of the Saddle & Cycle Club. Viking Athletics was proud that the players decided to use the Viking platform tennis ball for this event and that Viking could again be a leading sponsor of this tournament. This one of a kind platform tennis experience put the spotlight on 16 of the sport's top male platform players. Event creator Jason Gray thanked Viking for their continued leadership in the sport and willingness to step in and help. Congratulations the winners Flip Goodspeed and Scott Mansager. In other news from the Windy City, Viking is pleased to announce that for the eighth year in a row, the Viking platform tennis ball will be used at the Chicago Charities tournament the first weekend in November. The Charities is the Mid-west's largest platform tennis event of the season. With men's, women's, and senior events taking place, the event always offers participants and spectators the best the sport has to offer.
